No-Gi Jiu Jitsu Classes in Whitehorse
No-Gi Jiu Jitsu is a fast-paced, dynamic grappling style similar to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), but without the traditional gi (kimono). Students typically train in shorts and a rash guard, which changes the pace and grips of the game.
No-Gi often includes:
More Wrestling and Scrambles
Leg Locks and Modern Grappling Techniques
 ✔️ Faster, Fluid Movements
Because of fewer grip-based techniques, no-gi jiu jitsu tends to be quicker and emphasizes control, positioning, and submissions that can be used in competition or self-defense.
